Whose granny? Anyhow, wtf did I do to get on this mailing list? It just seems... weird. I mean, the website contains NO names that I recognize. I dunno if they got my name through Georgia Libertarians or through any of Ron Paul's groups that I have joined. I don't see any affiliation with any of those groups. Any insight? Thoughts? lol, looks cheesy

| If I had to guess, I'd think that someone sold your email from one of the libertarian or Ron Paul groups you had joined.. or at least did some kind of mass email from them and didn't hide the people it cc'd | ||||

![]() I was really expecting to see some sort of affiliation. I do find the page and what they're trying to do kinda silly. "We're revolting by having a conference!" ...... seriously?

| Do you think a revolt, or uprising, or revolution like in the days of the founder is actually possible now? | ||||

But while difficult and unlikely, I don't think it's impossible. It would probably turn out a few times like it does in Burma or China or Iran or any of the other oppressive countries that exist today... there would be an attempted uprising, the government would swoop in and kill a shit ton of people, cover it with propaganda, and nothing is achieved. But who knows, maybe after a few times or a decent subcultural movement, one could be successful. Not that I am suggesting that. Personally I think subculture is how cultures change. In the same way that Japanese anime is becoming more and more popular in the US, the idea of freedom could become more and more popular until politicians have no choice. That road is long and arduous though
