Apparently, president Bush has decided to remove 8,000 soldiers from Iraq, one of 15 combat brigades, and would reduce our numbers in Iraq from from about 156,000 to 148,000.

..and oh, yeah, the original plan was to have done this by mid-January, but in the month that has passed since that decision was made, that time frame has now been pushed back to February of next year.
