| going to my parents with friends, going out on the boat to watch the fireworks. they live in a small, small town that has a lot of rich, rich people. one guy told the town not to ask him for donations for anything but that he'd take care of the fireworks every year. wow. it'll last nearly an hour of non-stop HUGE fireworks, and because the lake is so big most people go out to watch it on boats. it's unreal. | ||||

| Our Cub Scout Pack is retiring a Flag at the Jamestown 4th of July Parade and then marching in it. We just got back from a 5 day camping trip today. Uhg. I'm all scouted out. Mot, you should come to the Parade and see us. It's not far from Greensboro at all. We'll be at the Jamestown Town Hall at 9:15 to do it.  That was at the Y a few weeks ago retiring 3 of their flags. My son is closest kid in the picture. Then we will probably hang at the Elks pool the rest of the day for their 4th of July party. After that cooking ribs on the grill and setting off illegal fireworks purchased in SC. | ||||

That was the smallest Jamestown parade we have ever been in. Their Christmas parade is usually really good but the 4th of July parades have been getting smaller and smaller. | ||||
