Considering in my second year in college I programmed a robot to navigate an obstacle course using really shitty infrared "eyes" and a digital compass, I find it very possible. Servos are fast and 3 laser eyes (more accurate than the infrared ones we used 8 years ago) could give an exact location and distance in 3D space.

Hell, while watching this one I was just thinking about how I could do one that moves (eg., runs along a fence or something). I wouldn't actually do it because I lack the time to even finish my current projects, but all the same, the possibilities are there

I can't see it at work but I think there was some guy on OT that made this or I atleast saw a post about it there. It was a few months ago. I am pretty sure it was real.

You'd think a paintball would be quite effective at deterring pests. I saw a rabbit near my garden the other day. Those buggers have destroyed alot of stuff so I didn't want him near my vegetables. I grabbed by paint ball gun and ran outside. I fired three shots near him, all of which missed ( on purpose

) and the damn thing just sat there and looked at me like " Are you serious dude? " . So I fired one more shot and hit him dead on the hind quarters. He hopped a few feet and stopped and looked at me. I ran over at him and he hopped a few more feet. Just enough to stay out of my reach and no more. I chased him out of the yard and eventually he hopped away. Those things have brass balls I tell ya. The odd thing is that they run like hell when I let my 14 lb boston terrier loose in the yard. Like she's a threat to anything.
