I'm not shocked. Conspiracy theories are rampant, and end-of-the-world-tales are as old as writing itself. Some people simply continue to confuse cause and effect. Flip them around and the world will make a lot more sense, I promise.

What is worse is that you have some people that WANT the end to come in their lifetimes and would do just about anything to bring it about, because they believe it will be paradise for the believers and eternal damnation for the unbelievers. To think people like that make public policy that will effect people for years to come.
