There's been talk about whether a black woman with a lever will help her steal votes from Obama and if she'll have the effect on Obama that Barr would have on McCain.

| The foundation of most environmentalist movements is anti-corporatism. McKinney definitely fills that bill. Also, the Green Party is looking to keep the name it made for itself. With the political expediency of Barack Obama as a black candidate pulling out new voters the Green Party likely wanted to get in on that action. The fact that she's a female to pick up the disgruntled Hillary supporters I'm sure is just icing on the cake. The Green Party just wants a percentage of the votes. They know they can't win, they've been in the game long enough to know this. What they want is to make their party seem significant through any means. I guess that includes nominating a wacko. | ||||

| Cynthia McKinney is an anti-semitic, pro-reparations, and controversial. She chose Rosa Clemente as her Vice President, to me they're running as the Black Panther Party. The Green Party screwed up big-time, McKinney will get 200,000 or lesser votes. Barack Obama should worry about Ralph Nader and Bob Barr, both are making splashes as Independent Candidates. | ||||

| I heard the spokesperson for the Green Party....calling the FISA vote 'extreme' on the part of Obama. Noting Obama's shift to the "right" not a shift to the center. And then in consistent form...again exposing how irrelevant they are...make a decision that will further expose how irrelevant they are. I'll submit this would be called an implosion by the media should it be the Republican Party. Obama is losing support from liberal groups, having a lot of trouble convincing Hillary voters(who many seem have a personal vendetta), and flip flopping like a billfish on the wire. Where is all this supposed support coming from, what is Obama's base? What is his true platform other than oppositon to anything he sees or hears? Or copycat platforms such as faith-based initiatives? I wonder if the Green Party would like to "cut his nuts off" as well? | ||||
