You've taken a huge leap there, no? He supports Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon, so therefore he's willing to turn the Middle East, including his own country, into a nuclear waste land?

From day one I took his comment to mean Israel shouldn't be a country anymore or shouldn't have been one to begin with. In order to nuke Israel and kill Jews, he would have to kill thousands of Muslims as well. Not happening and anyone saying otherwise is further propogating the ignorance of this administration.

Let's say you were living in Israel. Maybe you had family that died in Germany. Do you think you would take Ahmedinejads comments kind of seriously? Or just laugh it off that nothing can happen?

They died in Germany. German land should have been set aside for the jews. But no, there had to be a land grab by the Soviets and the others. As far as "how would I feel..." Who cares?

I am not sympathetic to the Jews in Israel because they shouldn't be there. This has nothing to do with the holocaust. And as far as that goes...I don't see the reasoning behind the special treatment when more chinese and russians died.

I wouldn't take his comments seriously. What is there to fear if you live in Israel? Your government has over 200 nuclear warheads and the most powerful conventional military in the middle east, along with the most powerful country in the entire world as a close ally. You'd seriously have to have anxiety disorder or something to worry that Iran will nuke you out of fucking no where. That's a totally unrealistic scenario.

And by the way, can anyone link to someone in the intelligence community, an analyst, someone other than Bill O'Rly, Sean Hannity and the Israeli PR Machine...an objective, respectable person who's not a politician...who seriously thinks Ahmedinejad would nuke Israel just because he can? Can you produce a credible, objective link arguing he'd nuke israel just because he can or not? Because thus far, that's an argument by neocon scaremongers and the Israeli media machine without any evidence backing it.

And of course the UN is uneasy about Iran having nukes...they're uneasy about all nuclear proliferation, but it doesn't follow that if they get nukes they'd just start launching because they can.
