| Ventura says he doesn't plan to seek Senate seat AP - Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura says he won't launch a third-party bid for the U.S. Senate "at this moment." Norm Coleman and funnyman Democrat Al Franken. Minnesota's political class has waited for a week to hear Ventura's decision. But there was also the possibility he was just enjoying the spotlight. Ventura beat Coleman for governor in 1998 in a three-way race and didn't run for a second term. source: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080715/ap_on_el_se/senate_ventura [link] | ||||
