More Al Gore Hypocrisy

Al Gore gave a speech in DC yesterday where he encouraged visitors to walk, bike or use public transportation to get there. Anyone who knows anything about Al Gore knows his standards for others don't apply to himself. He arrived with two Lincoln Towncars and a GMC Suburban. His Lincoln driver left the car idling with the AC on for 20 minutes while Al Gore was giving his speech so when he was done he and his family could go back into a cool car. The Prius obviously stayed home... not practical for Al Gore.

Some of that stuff is out of necessity. Leaving the car running is important for people like Al Gore, and other high profile political leaders because they might need to make a very fast exit if there is a threat or something. BUt as for the town car, it was probably a car service. If you rent a sedan to drive you somewhere, it's going to be a town car. They literally don't ever have anything else. When I was looking for a limo I did find a place that would give you a 300C, but that is no better. No body will send a driver to pick you up in a prius. Maybe the Towncar had some security features that couldn't be had elsewhere. Did anyone ask Al gore why he did these things?

He's a raging hypocrit and it doesn't take much searching to figure that out. His whole lifestyle is one of excess while he preaches at us little people for our carbon footprint being too big. All the while he's got a footprint quit literally 50 times larger than mine.

I just got done watching an obviously pregnant woman give a passionate speech about how abortion stops a beating heart and that anyone who does it is killing an unborn baby.

They asked if she had time for questions but she said she had to leave for her appointment at planned parenthood to terminate her pregnancy because she already had 4 kids and a 5th would be too much work. Everyone in the audience agreed that should have no bearing on her message.

Not so long ago, British Prime Ministers would often walk from 10 Downing street to the House of Commons - it's only about 100 yards, less in fact. If they were driven it was just in the one car and sometimes with 2 motorcycle outriders, then Tony Blair came to Power and became best mates with your George Bush, after that we noticed that not only did he ALWAYS ride to the Commons, but his entouage increased to two motor cycle outriders and a police car in front, then two cars carrying the PM and his staff followed by a second police car and a van behind that (I never found out what was in the van, it had tinted windows) all this to travel less than 100 yards!!

So he gives a speech to people that want to hear his message and that makes him a hypocrite? I would love to see how him and his security personnel, entourage, etc can ride bikes everywhere they go.

Also, he "encouraged" people to do something...he didn't "demand, rave and scream" for it. I wish you guys would stop with this blind hate. It's tiresome. Get a new hobby. I thought Pelosi is the new target anyway?

The dude in the video sounds like a complete tool as well.
