| I'm impressed that the government allows him into the country. It makes them look a whole lot better for not trying to silence their loudest and most virulent critic who is also a head of state. They don't really need to say or do anything about Chavez. He's got so much publicity that he'll dig his own PR grave eventually once the novelty of what he's doing wears off. Ahmadinejad at least uses some tact. Chavez is just buck wild. | ||||

But, to me, if we are a country that loves Freedom, and we are going to tout this policy of spreading freedom, then we need to learn to relax when another countries leader says something about our country and leaders. I side with the Bush Administration on this one, there is nothing to say to this guy or about this guy. They say "We aren't even going to give it the time of day" which is what Americans should be doing too. Because if you acknowllege it, what is that going to do? So what? So you don't like what he said...SO WHAT? What, are we going to start a war with Venezuala because he says Bush walks like a cowboy? What he said was so ridiculously funny, it might as well have been a comedian up there...and the fact that he leads, a small, poor, country, what, why get feathers in a fluff about this? I fail to see the purpose. | ||||

| He did make comments at the UN in line with what he said at the church. Perhaps some kind of loyalty test at the border would suit your needs? | ||||
