Democrats say Iraq war is top problem (AP)

AP - For Democrats, war looms as the nation's most pressing problem. Republicans cite the economy, terrorism, the war and immigration, the Associated Press-Ipsos poll found.

the past shows otherwise. what's the definition of stupid again? doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result every time. i guess we can only see how it goes for them...again.

Umm no thats the definition of insane not stupid

Doesn't matter if its a winning tactic, the economy and the war should always be the top two priorities IMO. I also think we need to get a few of these lawyers out of office and a few economist into office.

Yeah, that's insanity, not stupidity.

And, the polls have never had Democrats where they are now, up on every single issue from the war to security. They'd be stupid not to make one of the Republicans strongest issues that they're currently weak on a major part of their agenda in an election year.

Winning tactic or not, war, economy, etc, are always going to be the biggest issues.

i still don't see the iraq war gaining them much, especially when things are being turned over to the iraqi government more and more. how they handle things without are involvement i doubt people would care as much about.

if the democrats continue to call for a pullout, that won't get them anywhere.

I think the country as a whole says that, not just Democrats.

Well they can easily point out the "They stand up we stand down" line that we were all given, and point out that if the Iraqi government is taking over, then we should be leaving...since that is what THEY said. By the Administration not doing it, it makes them look like LIARS. AGAIN.

It's just another liberal tactic of talking about issues that concern people and not the issues that the conservatives keep trying to bring to the front.

why would Republicans cite the economy as a "top problem" when they say it is so awesome?

"top problem" or "top issue"?

I can understand it being a top issue regardless of whether or not it's doing well.

" For Democrats, war looms as the nation's most pressing problem. Republicans cite the economy, terrorism, the war and immigration"

seems by that and the thread title that they are stating what they think are the nation's top problems
