| I don't think anyone says the media loathes McCain. But they surely prefer Obama and I think that's very clear.

| Obama's the new thing. They're covering him, but not necessarily favoring him. I guess everyones already forgotten the New Yorker cover and Rev. Wright. If something goes wrong for Obama, they'll turn back into sharks and eat him alive. Everyone knows this to be true. The media's biased toward controversy, not politics. They covered these Jesse Jackson comments as if they were actual news. I support Obama. Donated and put on my bumper sticker just the other day. But I can't see him winning. Obama supporters are those folks that traditionally don't go out and vote. McCain's supporters are those that do, and they won't be affected one whit by pro-Obama media coverage. 77% of Americans say the country is on the wrong track. Obama is popular in his party and in the media. McCain is unpopular in his party and in the media. Yet Obama is leading McCain by less than 5 percentage points. There is a disconnect there that no amount of "liberal media" pro-Obama coverage can overturn. Obama represents change, and no matter how dissatisfied about the status quo people say they are, the folks that actually drag their asses out to vote fear change. They would rather go with the devil they know than the one they don't. So, all this fuss here about if the media is pro-Obama or not doesn't matter at all. | ||||

"The study found, on average, less than two opinion statements per night on the candidates on all three networks combined" that just isn't true. | ||||
