If I had a reason to kill someone (self defense, defending my wife etc) then I would, but I do not want to dwell on GRAPHIC videos of REAL human beings getting killed, tortured or drug through streets. Just not my cup of tea, I also think people need to be careful with what they put into their heads as that stuff is truly disturbing.

I agree with you. But everyone in this thread is telling me I'm hiding, etc. Just waiting for them to do the same to you.

You're right. You don't have to see it to know it happens, but you do have to see it to fully appreciate the gravity of it; otherwise you'd be just as disturbed by hearing about it as seeing it.

I think there's a huge difference. Lots of people would probably refuse to do cocaine no matter how nicely it's spoken of. On the other hand, many people do become much more amenable to war when it's present as nice and clean...which is, perhaps, why people are so disturbed by these vidoes...after all, if they weren't detached from the reality of war to begin with, they wouldn't be so disturbed from the videos, would they? Obviously the videos are showing you something your mind never grasped before...probably the horrible reality of what your mind was previously sugar coating.

You've been bombarded with propaganda since you were 5 about how horrible cocaine is, complete with pictures, graphic details, and stories. However with war, you've been bombarded with mixed propaganda ever since you were 5, partly (some) about the horrors of war, but also partly (mostly) how glorious it is, and how "surgically" and cleanly America can fight a war.

And I've seen a few videos already. I appreciate the gravity of it. I don't want to watch anymore. I'd rather be shocked hearing about it and not watching it.

I think its ironic that those clamoring for war war war....war with Syria, war with Iran, war with Iraq, war with North Korea, war with Venezuela, war with everyone....those are the same people who can't stomach to watch any violence

its all a paper game of numbers and spin...they want to keep it that way...

Conservatives have been all to willing to say 'the time for talking is over' when it comes to NK, or Iran, or whatever.

Since we know sanctions aren't going to work, it really can only mean one thing.

I dont recall anyone saying we should immediately bomb Iran, North Korea or Syria.

PNAC, neoconservatives in general...

Syria was on the table in late 2003 (before LL)
North Korea and Iran were both talked about on here but I didn't save quotes

Popular fox neocons like Kristol and Krauthammer advocating for ground wars against all those countries (Iran and Syria are right next to Iraq and NK would attack SK and possibly attack Japan)

So you were thinking about those gentlemen yet you said

So where is your evidence that those guys wont watch these videos ?

Or your evidence showing the people on this site who have said they dont want to watch them, are clamouring for war.

I don't have the ability to search, but I am positive b2w has called for military strike against NK, Iran while US troops are still next door, and I'm pretty sure Syria at one point, and im almost positive he wanted to invade one of those countries with a full ground invasion, rather than waiting for Iranian agents in Basra/Baghdad to ambush US soldiers

Don't be childish. People can stomach a lot more than they choose to.

Actually, it was the liberals who were saying we attacked the wrong country, that we should have attacked NK or Iran instead of Iraq. The only point I enjoyed making was that when/if we actually do attack those countries, the liberals will be crying about that too, despite the fact that they were saying we should have years ago.

I think their point was that if we needed to go to war to defend our country, there were certainly better targets that actually could pose a national security threat to the United States.. unlike Iraq.
