An Idea To Discuss Re: Nuclear Weapons

Even if some sort of "Star Wars" weaponry defense system would be ever created, there is an idea which can defeat it utterly:

Stealth nuclear missles.

Think about it. Our advanced stealth capability allows us to strike anywhere in the world without warning and gives us (The United States) a very big advantage over other countries.

What do you think of such an idea?

And yes, it could very well work because many of the problems with things like heat and the like have been solved.

Are you saying we need to develop stealth nuclear weapons, or they have already essentially been developed and we just need to combine the technology?

Stealth is no longer an advantage -- Iran has bought radar equipment far superior to our own (Mobile AWACS etc..) With passive technology, they can detect any stealth aircraft with accuracy ten times greater than that of any other country.

You can't make this out to be the end all solution to developing weaponry. It's a never ending battle that cannot be "won." War and combat are unfortunately losing battles for all involved. It's either the start of a nasty race to have the most advanced equipment or a scramble to protect one's country when you aren't ahead in the game.

These kind of suggestions were the cause of the cold war. If you don't treat nukes like an end all doomsday weapon that is not to be toyed, very very bad things follow.
