al gore is a steaming pile of shit

"Eight years ago, some said there was not much difference between the nominees of the two major parties and it didn’t really matter who became president," Gore said. "Our nation was enjoying peace and prosperity. Some assumed we would continue both, no matter the outcome. But here we all are in 2008, and I doubt anyone would argue now that election didn’t matter.

"Take it from me," Gore continued," if it had ended differently, we would not be bogged down in Iraq, we would have pursued bin Laden until we captured him. We would not be facing a self-inflicted economic crisis; we would be fighting for middle-income families. We would not be showing contempt for the Constitution; we’d be protecting the rights of every American, regardless of race, religion, disability, gender or sexual orientation. And we would not be denying the climate crisis; we’d be solving it."

Political Punch

He has no fucking idea what he would have done. If he was elected, going by what he's said and tried to do in the past the terrorists wouldn't have HAD to attack us.........they only would have needed to wait and he'd give them whatever they wanted.

So keep going, al. Tell us how you would have cured cancer, and given every little girl a bunny, and breathed in electrons and shot free electricity out of your ass to end our dependence on foreign oil. You fucking bag of dog shit.

AlGore has been breathing in wayyyy too much of the CO2 emissions coming off that 12,000 sq foot home of his. He should really work on cutting his carbon footprint, doesn't he know that stuff is bad for the environment and its not good to breath it?

If I may, I'd like to politely invite you to get over yourself.

Al Gore was right.

Al Gore wouldn't have attacked Iraq in response to 9-11 because Al Gore wasn't surrounded by people who had nursed hard ons for years about going to war with Iraq. Next time, you might want to consider cracking open a history book before you go spouting your inane, obscene, blindly hateful vitrol.

Some folks can't handle the truth. That's why they've respond with such angry emotion. But, that's characteristic of conservatives nowadays, I suppose. All emotions and little reason. And those emotions seem to primarily be hate and fear.

Clearly Al Gore's words touched a nerve, because he spoke a terrible truth that was too ugly for you to face. The pure volcanic fury of your response, obvious even in the thread title, is perfect evidence of that fact. You hate what Al Gore said because what he said was so obviously right, so transparently true, and you just can't bear to face it.

I laughed when I read the thread title and your first post. So pathetic, so desperate, so ugly, so mean, so negative, so angry... I love it. I have to be honest and admit that I actually laughed at your petty, bitter anger. Al Gore spoke the truth and it was sooooo painful for you to hear it. I know Al Gore may not be able to get every little girl a bunny, but he sure as hell got me to chuckle out loud because he was able to get you so mad! Preach on, Al! I wish he had gone on for another two hours, and then we would have cleared the forum of all these irrational haters after all their heads had exploded!

I take heart in the fact that Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000. It shows that a majority of the American people actually did realize which man was truly the better man. Unfortunately, we got stuck with the wrong man, who has turned out to be a miserable failure as a president.

Of course Al Gore would have done a better job than Bush. A retarded janitor would have done a better job than Bush. It is a painful fact, but it is a fact. I'm sorry that you can't face it, but I'm not surprised.

"You fucking bag of dog shit." Heh, heh. I hope Al Gore rings your doorbell then lights himself on fire.

call me pussyhurt, say I can't handle the truth......whatever. no matter what you think, him saying "If I had been in office blah blah blah" is beyond stupid. if he said he would have done the exact opposite of bush or the exact same he has no fucking clue what he would have done. he doesn't know half the shit people in office know. maybe he would have done better, maybe he would have done worse, but all we do know is it's been a while since he's had any political power and now he's grandstanding, probably hoping for a cabinet position.

I think he was probably right about at least 50% of that stuff. I'm not sure if anyone could have avoided the economic crisis. It was largely due to high oil prices and the housing crisis. That was a function of the free market and it was unavoidable. Maybe it could have been mitigated to some extent but I'm not sure.

Not spending trillions of dollars in Iraq would have certainly helped our economic situation.
