McCain camp can't name ANY relevant foreign policy experience Sarah Palin has, gets owned by CNN

He bobs and weaves, and she keeps trying to ask the question.

Anyone can see right through this transparent attempt to change the subject that they really have no answers for the American people who are rightly asking... "Why is she ready to be on the ticket?"

The fact that the Alaska National Guard has been deployed in Iraq means she should have been paying attention to Iraq, which as I pointed out, she wasn't.. even as recent as last year, nearly 4 years into the war.. not that she somehow has command experience over those units..

At least he didn't repeat the ridiculous line that her proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience, which has been repeated by Cindy McCain ().. It makes my brain hurt to think that anyone could actually believe that.

I was just coming here to post this.

It's so funny that he keeps talking about all her executive experience, and then he can't name one decision and decides to start lying.

They are grasping at straws and i'm pretty sure they are regretting this VP pick now.

It's looking more and more like this was almost a spur of the moment decision by McCain, instead of the careful and thoughtful decision it should be.. representative of the type of decisions we can expect him to make on other important matters as Commander in Chief?

Someone should make a thread about the fact that they apparently didn't actually vet her pretty well..

I have another thread I'll make tomorrow if no one else does by then

Wow! thats awesome if you think about it...mabey we all should run for president because as long as we pick someone with experience as our VP then we will be qualified to run the country.

On one side we have McCain with plenty of senatorial experience but no executive experience with a VP who has some executive experience but no foreign policy experience.

On the other hand we have Obama with foreign policy experience but...oh not much experience at all... with Joe Biden who has tons of experience in foreing affairs and the senate but no executive experience.

Mabey I should see if Robert Byrd would run with me on an Independent ticket because I once headed my condo association.

To some degree, yes. But I think we'd all be more comfortable with candiates with political records that were a bit longer to vet.

I don't think so. These candidates with long political records have been complete failures. Time for something new. That's why I am more against McCain than I am Palin...but I don't want either.

They can point to plenty though, and there's over 200 bills that he co-sponsored in the House.

That's a lot. I wonder how many were good enough to become law?

The difference is Tucker Bounds is the McCain campaign's spokesman, if anyone should be able to highlight it several days after her nomination it's him.. and he can't do it.

Some random supporter who didn't have specific legislative accomplishments memorized isn't the same IMO.

The presence of Palin is going to torpedo his chances at winning this election. Obama has already jumped out to an 8 point lead in the polls since the VP anouncement.
