Deemed irresponsible by whom? The United States? The US is not the entire world, and plenty of the world views Israel as too irresponsbile to have nukes. Plenty of people are demanding Israel disarm. Argue with those countries all you want, but the fact remains-- you let Israel have nuclear carte blanche, you're going to have an arms race in the Middle East and other countries won't respect the US when it tells them they can't have nukes.

If the US wants stability in the Middle East, Israel can't have nukes. It's that simple. And to make things worse, there's no practical reason for Israel to have nukes. They've got the most powerful military in the region, and they have the USA and its nuclear arsenal behind them.

Our nuclear arsenal would never be used to defend Israel. That's why Israel built their own in secrecy.

If Iran wants to go nuclear, they, and you, would be naive to think we wouldn't try to stop them.

Nice job on forgetting to mention that the EU dosen't want Iran having nukes either.
