The only reason I bash Obama more than McCain is the amount of people who were blindly in love with Obama.
Agreed on all accounts. I thought Obama was a better candidate than McCain, but I enjoyed bashing Obama a lot more simply because of the cult of personality.

Well, it probably his cause in WV when Obama said he wanted to bankrupt the coal industry.

^He favors coal when it is ecologically used, he even said that in that clip. We need to be concerned about the environment, even if it makes our utility bills increase, which it shouldn't really, much of our power is nuclear in the more densely populated urban areas, and solar and wind have a much higher potential of cheaper energy if we develop them properly. Also, he's only talking about new coal plants, not existing ones, and his cap and trade system is very similar to McCain's was, btw.

The Coal Unions, which I am guessing are usually Democrat (?), didn't see it that way. They were pissed and had press releases about it.

He doesn't support nuclear though either, right?

Sweet avatar, by the way. I like the communist flag and the rainbow.
What a neat, original idea.
My only doing was adding the communist flag into it. I can't take credit for the rainbow. It was the logo on Obama's site the day I grabbed it.

If McCain had people worshiping him, sliding his pole, riding his sack... then he would be in the picture too. I figured most of McCain's supporters knew he was a bad candidate so there is no need for me to add insult to injury.

I didn't hear "I want to bankrupt coal industries"

Rather, I heard him describe a cap-n-trade system (much like what McCain espoused) that supports cleaner technology. The strictures in place now that are supposed to help reduce green-house emissions are piss-poor, and that is why the entire cap-n-trade system theory was drawn up (and is widely supported by most all candidates, and I presume a good portion of the congress).

By the way, there's a large difference between clean coal energies and the coal energies currently used.

Personally, both options are detestable, as the emissions from one are barely lower than the other. Nuclear is a viable option iff it weren't for the 500,000 year half-life radioactive plutonium that is by-produced from the nuclear process. Most people tend not to worry about that, since they do not have to deal with the waste being disposed of in their state.

I'm not sure what this means, but I'm sure we can extrapolate some sort of bullshit "LOL REPUBLICANS ARE FAT!" troll argument based on this graph.
