According to federal laws he was, posted in another thread

That's automatically a federal crime when you cross state lines

What, some blog is writing that some other blog knew something a few days earlier than when ABC news learned it? That is your big charge? That is the only evidence I've seen, and its flimsy

Looks more like that says "questioned" than anything difinitive.

We've already known that the screen name of the boy was edited in those screenshots, so..

It's not like Democrats haven't tried before. It took a week or two to prove the forged 60 Minutes documents. Just give it time

They first went public with the "friendly" e-mails. When that wasn't enough they went public with the second e-mail. There now seems to be two different versions of that second e-mail floating around and there is also apparently the possibility that it never was an e-mail communication, just re-typed up to appear to be an e-mail.

And Hastert (who did bring this up with those above him) was only privy to the "friendly" e-mail, not the second one (which we now know may be forged or edited). The people above him decided it was just too friendly and told him to stop communication with the boy after speaking with his parents and the parents saying they didn't want to do anything about it.

Uhm, no.. considering that the Republican leadership in the House hid this from Democrats, including the 1 Democrat who would have been able to do something about it.

It's not like the Democrats have known about this for years and hid it to release now... That's the Republican, except they didn't release it. They would have kept it hidden like they have all these years if given the choice.

I'n not sure why people are giving the republicans who covered this up the benifit of the doubt on the past few years, but whoever revealed this is a monster.

It's like the outrage at the leak about secret prisons. All the outrage was at the leak and not the prisons.
