| I have a feeling his claims of alcoholism and being drunk while sending messages are going to be his legal defense. I took crim law a few years ago, but as I remember any attempt is a specific intent crime and drunkeness negates the mens rea for the intent required for a conviction. I may be way off, but I have a feeling this is what's going on.  | ||||
