I love how in Prisons that the criminals are harsher to the sex crimes people than the courts usually are.

My Dad was an inmate for quite some time, and he has some pretty good stories on what he saw done to some. He also pointed out that the men who would do these things to the inmates who were pedophiles or rapists, were mostly the drug offenders and the people in for robbery, because apparently alot of them have wives, and children at home, and it's like a soft spot...

Good for them.

Was at one time the #2 Speed Dealer in Anaheim.

According to him, he made around 800K to 1Mil between 1982 to 1985.

He said that I made him the money because he'd be home on the weekends with me, and more availble to people.

He got locked up for the last time when I was 13. He was in and out before that, 30 days, 45 days, 90 days, 6 months here and there...his final was 2 years in a Level 3. I never knew he was locked up before, I was told he was on vacation or off out of state as a kid. The last three times I actually knew he was in. The last time he went in, he went into a drug rehab program, and came out clean and sober, and decided he wasn't going to deal anymore.

That was about 12-13 years ago. He still carries his felon card, even though he doesn't have to. I didn't know any of it was for drugs until I was 16, when I was told the truth.

I can tell you, being the child of an inmate is a very very weird experience. I'd like to write about it one day.

Oh, and by the way, he has none of the money he once made, because the last time he was locked up, they taxed him on the income he would have made with what he was caught with, so he owed the IRS for quite sometime. And there is no actual money, because he spent it all buying collectibles. They were supposed to be my inheritance, but he has since gotten married, and now they are selling all of it to buy a house.

Stuff I can remember off the top of my head...

Records, my room, his room, and the den used to be FULL of boxes and boxes of Vinyl. He collected tin toys, tin lunchboxes, old magazines, stuff like that. He would mostly shop at thrift shops and find stuff...I grew up in Thrift stores shifting through the toys looking for the old ones...

But, it was enough for him to spend all his money on. No banks for him, he invested in toys.

While he certainly had it coming to him, being a rapist/murder, I'm generally against all forms of prisoner abuse.
