To be honest with you all those F-16 air strikes and ground attacks from Israeli military, including the dropping of Phosphorous, depleted Uranium and DIME onto the people of Gaza is something action packed straight to you from Warner Bros. Warner Brothers and Steven Spielberg wanted to entertain us all so they suggested through this movie that Israel pounding Gaza with air strikes and a ground invasion was the only peace talks that should be considered. And who mentioned anything about Gaza having over 1,100 casualties there is no such thing as casualties or a People of Gaza. And the main cemetery that was attacked by air strikes was simply to prove that the Palestinians buried there were faking their deaths and Israel wanted to make sure they were dead so they hit them with air strikes.

When Livini' was interviewed by journalists in Washington there was one journalist who stood out in particular without a shoe but instead with powerful words who questioned her presence in the USA. He started of by mentioning human Rights Reports and the murder of innocent civilians in Gaza he was then told to finish his question. His bold response was:

Isreal should just warn everyone ahead of time and then turn gaza into a parking lot. It's a tiny strip of land anyway and the people that live there don't want peace.

I was watching a clip from Israeli tv the other day while they interviewed a Palestinian doctor from Gaza whos daughters were killed by Israel while he was being interviewed. It was heartbreaking.

These are people just like you and me, with families and children and they're suffering greatly, in part because of our unwavering support of anything Israel does.. and this demonizing has got to fucking stop.

Saying they should make it into a parking lot is no better than the neocon morons who say we should nuke the middle east.

As far as Hamas "crying uncle" .. I suspect it has more to do with the transfer of power that will be taking place in a few days, and Israel wanting to get a bead on where Obama will stand on these issues as he takes office.

Hopefully this is the last time for a long time that Israel will feel like it can do whatever it wants because America will protect it regardless of what it does.

Why do you totally ignore the fact that hamas is a terrorist group that lobs missles randomly into civilian areas with no military goal other than to inflict terror? A colleague of mine is from Gaza. His family won the citizen lottery and came to America about 8 years ago, but still has his home in Gaza. We were sitting at a desk next to each other working on a project when his wife called. She told him that three of his family members had died when an Israeli air strike hit their home and that they can't get in touch with one of his brothers. His brother is an ambulance driver and went out to help someone when he got surrounded by the Israeli military and no one had heard from him since.

I had to console him when he received the news and it was heartbreaking. And although he isn't fond of Israel he sure as hell is not supportive of Hamas. He had not one positive thing to say about Hamas. In fact, he complained more about Hamas than he did Israel. He considers them to be a hindrance to the people of Gaza.

The people of Gaza are suffering, not because of our support of Israel, but because the actions carried out by Hamas are not in the best interest of its people. Hamas puts revenge and the destruction of Israel above the well being of its citizens. They are willing to make whatever sacrifices are necessary, including the countless deaths of their own people, for even the most minute advances against Israel.

Half of the causalties are children and women. At least 1300 Palestines were casualites not including the ones buried under the ruins of what used to be there homes and the bodies that the paramedics could not reach because of Israeli ground forces being there.
