Reality and commonsense. The 'fairness doctrine' ; 'Campaign Finance Reform"; The dept. of Education - which opposes differing viewpoints on a whole host of issues.. such as abstinence; history; science; Intelligent Design; observing Ten Commantments; voluntary prayer;

The "liberal media" is hardly the same as Fox News, in that with the exception of perhaps the NY Times, there's no obvious network-approved agenda.

No one is trying to prevent Rush from being able to speak their mind, we just recognize him as a partisan hack and hypocrite

I didnt make a statement I need to support.

You havent said anything anywhere on this forum that I agree with. Simply because I dont agree with you doesnt give me the right to say that people with your views have no common sense. Actually as far as I can tell you can hardly tolerate anyone who doesnt see things your way and I have yet to see you make a truly valid point on anything. Its all just a bunch of partisan rhetoric and spin. Bush may say Democrats shouldnt be trusted, but he has proven he CANT be trusted. Many many common sense conservatives have come to that realization.

Actually, I need to make a correction... Fox is not so much a conservative voice.. reality is, it's 'fair and balanced' just as it Say's. You are so used to the liberal bias, and conservatives not being able to speak, that you think a balanced show is conservative.

And actually, you Dem's have been trying to prevent Rush from speaking on the air for over a decade. He is upfront about his beliefs.. and a great American. "Hypocrite" - why, because he is/was addicted to pain killers?!? Do you say the same of others addicted to pain killers? See, liberals DO suck!! And are the partisan hacks they accuse everyone else of being who shines the light of truth on their obvious lies.

You're correct that Fox is not a "conservative" voice, because current Republicans aren't conservative

Fox is anything but fair and balanced, it's titled to the right so much that it's essentially a GOP propaganda machine.. it's easily seen in the way they present everything.

Also, I'm not a Democrat. He's a hypocrite for many reasons, the pain killers when combined with his stance on drug addiction being one of them.

The main thing is that he just spews idiotic rhetoric that people who like to think about issues, rather than be spoonfed what they're supposed to think, simply don't like.

Actually, Bush was/is right about Iraq.. there are literally TONS of evidence collected that Bush was right about Saddam's WMD programs and stockpiles since we invaded.

He was/is right about economic and domestic issues (except NAFTA and the borders.. but I hear he is finally doing something on the fence issue.); he was/is right about tax cuts.
"Wrong about everything" perfectly decribes the liberal/democrats.

Hmm.. well, the liberals I've spoken to hate his personality because he speaks like a bumbling fool and because his 'down home country attitude' comes across so obviously forced. The sad part is he is fooling a lot of people with it. I find it humorous that the same group of people who detest governmental interference in their lives are so willing to trust the politicians they elect to the point of accepting removal of the checks and balances that help keep our country from becoming the authoritarian nightmare they fear.

pot? kettle? foxnews? You know, I have met a few liberals who fit your description, but there are very few, if any, here on this board. Is that why Bush admits there were no WMD in Iraq, and they were wrong? Because there's so much evidence supporting it?

Cmon, if there were any credible evidence, they wouldn't have backed off the claim. It's been shown clear enough that there were no stockpiles of WMD's for them to admit they were wrong.
