It's Hezbollah's fault

Bush said it 94 times in the past 2 days....I just don't get it. How is all this Hezbollah's fault? Someone please explain it to me. If I recall correctly, Hamas kidnapped a soldier....justified/unjustified...doesn't matter. After that, Israel started acting like a fool. Only after a series of events did Hezbollah get involved.

The reason given is that this is a retaliation against the accumulation of Hezbollah attacks and actions over the past several months.

Hezbollah is mostly at fault, but the Israeli response is unjustified and IMO stupid

They crossed the border, something Israel has been known to do
Infact, Israel forces across the border are probably the ones holding the Lebanese prisoners Hezbollah wants

However, they crossed a new border after a treaty had been ratified and approved by a government they have representation in...thats where its their fault

But it was AFTER Israel went into Gaza. I don't see an issue with Hezbollah coming to the rescue of fellow muslims when they were attacked.

Which is why I don't see how calling Hezbollah's retaliations against Israeli rocket attacks as "acts of terror."

I no way do i support either side doing rocket attacks, but I don't think you can call one "self-defense" and the other "terrorism," seeing as both sides are killing military and civilian targets.

Gaza is still part of Israel, and if they wanted to help the Palestinians directly, they could have booked passage around israel and smuggled themselves into Gaza City

They're being blamed because their actions escalated the fighting into an entirely new country, rather than trying to end the situation with Israel's incursion into Gaza in order to get their soldier back.
