I was angry that five soldiers — the real heroes in my mind — were killed the same day and got far lower billing in the newscasts. I was angry that 51 American soldiers paid the ultimate price for Bush’s folly in Iraq in March alone. I was angry that these mercenaries make more in a day than our brave men and women in uniform make in an entire month. Unlike the vast majority of people in this country, I actually grew up in a war zone. I witnessed communist guerillas execute students accused of being government collaborators. I was 8 years old, and I remember stepping over a dead body, warm blood flowing from a fresh wound. Dodging bullets while at market. How about they walked into it to do a job that SOMEBODY had to do. They're contractors looking for work and were willing to take the job and help our country in a time of need. Where they paid more for being in a combat zone? Yes. But they should have been.. because this was the risk they took.

One could say our soldiers are profiting from the war. They're getting paid. They're getting a salary, combat pay, college tuition, etc. They have a contract with our government do wage this war just like the contractors.

For all the threads and fighting you do about Americans torturing insurgents, you sure do have some warped views on Americans REALLY being tortured for rebuilding Iraq.

That's the whole point of the link. To show you he did say it. It has been removed from his page and the actual page when you search for it brings you to a non-related page. This is the only way you can see the comment is if you come into the site on that exact link. That's the only way it still works.

We're two years later now and that link has moved up due to the right wing bloggers all over the nation linking to that direct link.

You seem to have difficulty understanding how Google works. Two years ago, when he was trying to hide it for the elections, it was not so easy.

Try that search at Yahoo (which doesn't work directly off linkbacks) and see what happens...
