Having a strong understanding in one area doesn't make someone an expert on the other. Has he ever taken a Biology class outside of high school? I can't quickly find that information online and I would be interested to hear what kind of scientific background he has since he is attacking scientific theory. In order for him to write a book on these issues he should be able to prove his education level for both sides of the arguments.
i'll ask this almost word for word for you, should be a good one

Are you a theist? Deist? Christian?

I frankly see no evidence of a 'creator.' The 'evidence' cited by the majority of the arguments are largely unfounded (favorite being the eye).

Ask him his views on the philosophy between freewill and determinism; that is, whether or not he believes freewill exists, or if he thinks everything is determined. If the former, then a God must not exist*, if the latter, then why the necessity for divinely sanctioned punishment (Hell and the like, or laws of morality as deduced from the divine)?

*The standard definition for a single God is omniscient and omnipotent. In order to know everything (omniscience), one must have knowledge before hand of what is going to take place --and since there is some 'divine creator' that is omniscience, he would then have known that everything any person does in their life is inevitably going to happen (as he created everything, and that is, by definition, a part of his creation). Which would then mean that he randomly sends people to hell to suffer for their crimes which he, by this logical deduction, himself created. Or, he forced others to suffer at the hands of extremely evil people (Hitler, Stalin, etc).

I'd be interested to hear his take on that.

Another interesting question to ask him is whether or not he believes because a banana can fit into a humans hand, God created everything. Ask him, then, if that can be explained by adaptation from ape-like creatures, and not simply as a "fine-tuned" system.

video regarding that:

In the event anybody is wondering, he went to debate 2 atheists, claiming he could prove God's existence without invoking the Bible, and in his opening statement, cited several commandments.
Regarding the debate

Fast-forward to ~40 seconds

As I thought, a complete lack of knowledge of evolution/science as a whole.

So, he's a believer because of ignorance...

I wish I had had more time to prepare and had specifics to go at him with, except he'd just say "well we don't know," etc. Hard to argue with these folks. When i mentioned Shirley Phelps-Roper, my producer started waving me off, haha, saying don't bring that up.

Hmm, I thought lulz inducing rants = ratings.

But then again, you'd be recognized as just the crazies fisher and nothing more.

Still, interesting show.

I don't know how you get away with being sarcastic and have them thank you for the interview. Good work.
