Exactly how does this discovery contradict the whole "millions of years" thing? I know you *want* it to "prove" that dinos/the earth are less than 6k years old, but I'm missing how this discovery proves it.
biological things just don't last that long. They degrade from natural processes. If the DNA did last millions of years, I'm very interested in seeing the mechanism for this. This revelation could spell and end to the need for refrigerators and freezers.

All in all, it is a pretty cool find, but even IF they can extract usable DNA, they won't be able to make a living T-Rex (or one that would survive for long, I should say).

I can't believe anyone thinks that DNA can remain intact for millions of years (unfrozen, at least).
and what if they are entombed in amber? this is 'unfrozen'.

Disappearing Dinosaurs - Dinosaur Myths: Jurassic Park

... Amber is one of the better preservatives of DNA, so dinosaur DNA in amber would be good. Problem: DNA degrades over time, even in amber. After several million years, many important pieces of the DNA would be lost. These gaps in the DNA strand cannot be repaired; their information is lost forever. We cannot improvise the genetic code of an organism...
We must sequence the DNA ... That's several billion letters strung together in a chain. One gap in the chain could possibly ruin the whole thing... Putting together DNA is a lot harder than reconstructing a dinosaur skeleton from its bones, and that's plenty hard. The odds of correctly assembling the genetic code for the entire animal is like putting a million-piece puzzle together with your eyes closed. DNA allows some room for mistakes (not all DNA is used), but it doesn't seem likely that we could get enough for any one animal.

I don't think it did. Either flesh does not decay (which we have observed that it does) or it is not 70MYO. You can't change fact to support your flawed theory.

-it IS a t-rex bone
-t-rex died out 70M years ago
-bone has fleshy crap in it

put it all together and what have you got?

70M year old fleshy crap. Nobody's changing fact. It appears "fact" was wrong.

It'll be interesting to see the scientific explanation for the mysterious lack of decay. Explaining mysteries is what science does best!

Don't worry, I'm sure it'll involve a conspiracy
