Socialism cannot exist without capitalism, and vice versa, so what Nostradamus "predicts" is impossible, at least with our current technology. The day may come in which capital, and thus capitalism, is no longer applicable to modern life, in which case socialism, if it even still exists as well, will likely be very different from the state-run "equality" model so many, particularly on the right (perhaps rightly) fear so much.

..of course, thats not saying Nostradamus, or anyone else for that matter, predicted anything. The guy wrote prophecies in the form of poetic quatrains, wordy meaningless garbledygook, interpretable in a million ways. Sure, today the idea of a socialist revolution might be predictable (probably as a direct result of the utter failure of the change.gov machine), but thats not to say that some schmuck who lived so many centuries (who predicted it, in most likelihood by describing an angry bull humping a mad cow while eating pickled eggs into a fiery inferno started by a purple midget) predicted it...
