Can't remember that book for sure its in OKC and not on my shelf ATM.

Ok well from my personal observations of murder trials in Philadelphia, I never saw one that involved DNA evidence

People watch CSI and think thats how it is...the first thing a ADA will tell a jury is "this isn't CSI, we don't have a complex multimillion dollar homicide lab"

And how many cases do you have experience with? Because I grew up having a father that spent 31 years as a cop and much of that time helping prosecutors gather evidence for death penalty cases. DNA evidence is becoming more and more common. CSI has little to do with reality so I dont know why you're bringing it up. But I am surprised Philly doesn't have a homocide lab. OKC and the OSBI both have state of the art facilities. Actually I think the OSBI facility just finished construction.

There's a lab, and ofcourse they take into account DNA evidence, but when you have like 400 murders a year do you think they take DNA sampling tests on all of them, or even a majority? DNA tests aren't cheap, and they aren't 100% reliable, sometimes they come back inclusive and you need a new round of tests

Oklahoma is not Philadelphia, we are the 3rd largest city in the country that faced total bankruptcy several times the past 20 years and in one of the poorer NE states
