| Midweek Politics - 07.26.2006 This Week on Midweek Politics with David Pakman Produced by: David Pakman, WXOJ, Northampton, MA Louis Motamedi, WXOJ, Northampton, MA Total Running Time: 54:30 This Week's Topics: --In planning for interviews with the candidates for Massachusetts governor, we had to contact all of their respective campaigns. We recorded those call and play some of them today. --Ann Coulter accuses liberals of "faking a belief in God" and repeats plenty of false information about evolutionary theory. Also, what would President Coulter do, and why does she think Bill Clinton is a "latent homosexual?" --Joe Lieberman's Senate re-election campaign is looking even worse than last week, with some polls actually showing challenger Ned Lamont ahead of Lieberman. --John Gibson, who brought us such books as "the War on Christmas," asks if Saddam Hussein's WMD's (yes, those WMD's), may now be in Hezbollah's hands. --Who is the latest to equate stem cell research to Nazi genocide? --What does Rush Limbaugh have to say about stem cell research? Obviously we can't have intelligent debate on the subject with hearing his thoughts... --MSNBC's Chris Matthews jumped on Rudy Giuliani's bandwagon for the 2008 presidential election on the Tonight Show. --Michael Savage claims CNN's Wolf Blitzer "would have let children into the gas chamber in order to stay alive an extra day," and more. --Medea Benjamin is removed from the Iraqi Prime Minister's speech at the Capitol for protesting the war. --George W. Bush gets heckled during his first appearance at the yearly NAACP convention. --A 1999 quiz for George W. Bush on world leaders, as well as more candid footage from the G8 summit. http://www.midweekpolitics.com/midwe...006-07-26.html | ||||

| Ann Coulter is such a hack. I love how she claims that Liberals are "Godless", but then suggests carpet bombing Iran.. Yeah, because mass killing innocent people is a Christian value | ||||

| Lieberman deserves to lose because he doesn't represent the majority of Connecticut voters on the issues that they care the most about. I love how he's so indignant about having to actually run in a primary and justify his existance to the voters.. like that's somehow beneath him because the seat is his. | ||||

| Leave it to Fox to use the same format that they used in the run up to the Iraq war to try to sway public support a certain way. The General they're citing is selling a book, so anything he says isn't very credible ATM.. If there was any evidence of these massive convoy's to Syria in the run up to the war the US would have seen it, and we would have gone into Syria to go after them rather than occupying Iraq. | ||||

| O'Reilly and most of the conservative pundit's always try to frame Republican's as pro-whatever-they-feel-advantageous and Democrats or Liberal's as pro-whatever is bad, or anti-whatever is good. Same shit, different day. Michael Savage, again, is a fucking moron. Wolf Blitzer putting children in a gas chamber? Give me a break.. this guy doesn't deserve airtime IMO. | ||||

| Heh, I kind of agree with Rush Limbaugh.. I feel dirty. But yes, Bush should make use of the veto more often to veto some of these idiotic spending bills. And, funny how Rush says "we're years away from blah blah blah", like somehow the fact that we're years away from something means it's not worth doing it? | ||||
