Oh shit. this is good. The first scene with the guy getting shot I wasn't quite convinced. But the next one with the people shooting into the empty room was great. I'm at the point now with the funeral procession, them accidently dropping the corpse and the corpse standing up and climbing back onto the stretcher! They have to resort to things like this because they can't get their news stories out any other way. The massive Israeli media lobby in the US essentially controls how the entire conflict over there is framed in the US, what words are used, etc..

It's the same thing with what happened in Lebanon. Everything is extremely sanitized in the US and most of the population believes what the media lobbies feed them.

There's no shortage of horrors over there which are real, so any suggestion that because they have to stage things to get their message out somehow negates the horrible conditions and oppression they're forced to live with under the illegal Israeli occupation is completely false.

When you lack the highly technical and massively wealthy structure to influence the media directly, as the Israeli's do, you have to resort to things like this. I'm not going to apologize for it, but I understand it.

So now you're defending this type of media staging behavior? Seriously how can you justify that? There's atrocities that have happened on both sides, the media here isn't shy about lambasting Israel simply turning the nightly news makes this appearant.

Palestine has never had a problem gathering supporters. We see a constant bias against Israel, whether its doctoring photo after photo to now staging scenes to report. This is ridiculous and excusing it as OK behavior is ridiculous.

That's like saying Michael Moore has to rely on telling lies in his videos because he can't get his message out any other way

If you think the US media is unfavorable to Israel you're mistaken, the news we get about the conflict has to go through a series of filters (lobbies) before it ever reaches us.. and unlike internationally, we rarely get to see a true assessment of what's going on over there because of it.

The fact that the media can be controlled to an extent that entire news organizations wont use a word, like occupation for example, is quite telling about the accuracy of the information we recieve.

So, the reality is that Israel does the same thing, just on a much more sophisticated level through lobbies, one which isn't as easily seen as when the "staging" messes up.

Who should be using hte word occupation? The nightly news shows use it constantly in reference to the US and Iraq. The term has not been used with Israel with the exception of the West Bank fiasco.

This is specifically relating to Israel's military occupation of Palestinian territories. I mean, there's plenty of examples. I posted a video awhile back that no one cared to watch, but it illustrates the realities of the situation quite well.

Everything we see in the US media is framed a certain way. Israel, for example, is always talked about as responding to this or that, and their actions, even if it results in the deaths of children, is framed as somehow being in defense if this or that, even if Israel has been the aggressor in that specific instance.

Like I said, both Israel and the Palestinian's are guilty of this, Israel just has a much more sophisticated method of doing it.
