| I fully agree with Kos that cursive useless and has no place in schools except for maybe an elective. Daily Kos: State of the Nation I was always pissed in school trying to learn this shit that was designed for right-handed folk and had no use in the modern world. I typed all my work as early as I could use a computer competently (3rd or 4th grade?), and was way ahead of all the suckers scribbling their pretty essays at 10wpm. | I think you are probably right. Handwriting just isn't as important as it used to be. The only time I write something down is when I am making a grocery list. The need to have neat and legible hand writing is almost extinct. Everything is electronic these days. | ||||

| I haven't used sursive since the last time a teacher made me. I'm right-handed and I still hate it. | ||||

| So what about putting your signature on important documents? BTW I have a bit of a personal joke. Whenev er somebody says "please sign here" I respond with "but I don't know sign language". | ||||

| I use some kind of mixture between cursive and regular print. I mean, some letters it's nice to be able to know because it speeds up the writing process But it's a hassle to have to write in it fully. I don't know that I'm sad that it's antiquated or not, but I would think it would still be somewhat important to be able to read it | ||||
