Yes, I fear North Korea. Then again, North Korea is threatening to nuke us and our allies. We understand that certain countries have nuclear weapons, but none make threats on a daily basis bragging about their capability of using them. So now your whole argument is moot. Originally Posted by Donkey® I would understand if Iran attacked Israel or if Israel attacked Iran. It is you who lacks the ability to understand that NK != Iran.

The country makes threats to the world, and the world rewards it with gifts.
My biggest fear today is that when the gifts get cut off, the country will sell or use its chemical or nuclear weapons.

| There's been some speculation that they may have even already sold some such materials to the Burmese gov't, although a nuclear Myanmar is probably far less of a threat. | ||||

Their missiles = fail. Their weaponized nukes = fail. Why exactly should I fear them? Oh, that's right..."Axis of evil" and what not...they are just in some room somewhere huddled with Bin Laden selling him nukes. This isn't a Jean Claude Van Dam movie.

| Yeah, but thats a good reason for it being that much less of a threat. Honestly, I still can't believe that ppl actually thought there was ever going to be a huge nuclear war so much that they were training kids to hide under their desks in schools back in the day. (like a piece of wood would even save them from a nuclear explosion anyway, right) It was never going to happen, Russia and the US simply had too much to lose. NK, on the other hand, their country is so worthless, they maybe might figure, might as well do it.. | ||||

No, you can't make this shit up. If Charlie Brown continued to get a rock at every single house for years on end, you reckon he might one day turn into some Columbine killer? North Korea is the ONLY nation in the world without a "dollar exchange". We still at war with them, and we--along with the rest of the world, have locked them out. It is so bad that it is noticable from orbit, they dark--and we kid ourselves that it is their backwardness. And no nation in the world sells oil for anything except dollars. Well, except for Iran. Matter of fact, since that terrible populist dictator they got took over, why they sell the majority of their oil for either yen or euros. Matter of fact, Iraq and Sadaam were good guys, until Sadaam demanded that his food for oil program funds be held in euros. He made three billion dollars on the exchange rate along before he started hiding in spider holes. Nope, Iraq, Iran, North Korea--it all about the "Benjamins". It is all about the initial crumbling of the fiat dollar wall.

Nukes are not even their worst weapons. They have weapons that will do much more damage than nukes. Ignorance is bliss.

Obama is free to ignore North Korea rather than approach them directly and escalate the situation, but it is not in our best interest to pretend a problem doesn't exist. That's just dangerous ignorance. We should be paying close attention to North Korea right now and we should do whatever it takes to protect our nation.

| Actually another Pearl Harbor type situation would probably be great for someone who wants to lock up "terrorists" without trials and throw out the 4'th and 5'th amendments and such just like the last time we were attacked.. | ||||

I tell you another secret--wouldn't been that difficult to launch a ballistic missle armed with a nuclear warhead from a diesel powered submarine, not hard at all. You just need a sub with launch tubes, a missle, and a nuclear warhead. Appears North Korea got em all.

Don't change your statements either. I don't care if they can strike "our allies." We're talking about striking the continental US, Alaska or Hawaii. Post evidence they can do it or just stop posting. I don't have to prove a negative.
