Election Preview special tomorrow at 8pm east, live...call in, suggest sources...

Alright, tomorrow and the following saturday from 8-10pm eastern US time, i've been asked to produce and host a special election preview show. tomorrow i will mostly be playing previously recorded clips, including interviews with candidates, pollsters, etc.

i plan on having live callins so anyone who wants to call can at 413-585-1033

The show will be live on several affiliates, as they ahve decided to preempt programming as well to carry the show.

You can listen live on Valley Free Radio

Also...what is a good site that is a "comprehensive" overview of the 2006 election that i could use to do a summary at the top of the show?

it slows up on the weekends and you're asking a tough question.

Project Vote Smart - American Government, Elections, Candidates and Voting

Is a great site, but I don't think they have an overview.

I think Thorgrim's thread is probably a very good overview honestly. He keeps it updated very well and there's tons of good information that's well organized

I agree. Thorgrim did an amazing job on that thread. Probably one of the better overview/compilations you'll find on the net.

If you had more time, I'd have you check out this, which really shows a 30+ house seat gain by the Dems if the election were today
