| To bad you see it that way. I have to disagree. The Sarah Pain that will put this country back together will not bend to forign dictators, will get jobs back in American hands. Will not nationalize companies and raise taxes. She will decrease the size of the government and give the country back to the people. Above all she will protect the country and its people. Shes an American above all other politicians. | ||||

| Yeah, stupid policies she adopted-like a windfall profits tax on the oil industry. Oh wait, Obama supports that. Stupid policies like shooting wolves from helicopters and proclaiming the polar bear is not an endangered species. Oh wait, Obama supports that. Yeah, stupid policies like expanding the already bloated defense budget--spend more than Ronald Reagan and his Star Wars initiative--oh wait, Obama is doing that. Stupid policies, like proclaiming there has been a "stolen" election in Iran and yet ignoring what is happening in Honduras and Mexico--oh wait, that is Obama again. Stupid policies like extraordinary rendition, infinite confinement of "enemy combatants" without a trial, and the covert survelliance of American citizens without warrants--oh wait, that's Obama again. | ||||

On defense--again, not two cents worth of differance. Remember when Palin "goofed" and contradicted McCain on cross border raids into Pakistan? Obama has inflated our military budget and inflated the number of troops deployed abroad. But, there is one huge differance between Obama and Palin. Obama is an insider, has been since BEFORE he even entered college, despite the little fantasy he tries to perpetuate. It is Palin that is the true "community activist". Obama, he got out of college and a big fat pocketed dude gave him a car and a job--go into the projects and get me some political power. That is precisely what he did. He did not conduct those community activities in any philantrophic mood of helpfulness. He did it in an overt attempt at gaining political power and patronage. And, like a rabid wolf, he proceeded to garnish that power with lust and destroyed anything, or anyone, that got in his path. Like Lincoln, also from Illinois, Obama was long ago a "chosen puppet", used to put a friendly face on the monster that is private equity, the real "leader" of our current political aristocracy. The same leader of King George, both the Bush and the Windsor variety. Nope, we may have won the battle that was the American Revolution, but we long ago lost the "war" and still find ourselves being taxed without being represented. Palin, on the other hand, was a pissed off Mom that leveraged the power of her church and her community to make needed changes in the political apparatus of Alaska. No situation can better demonstrate the differance than the Wasilla Recreation Center. On one side, Palin--who initiated the purchase of the property and the tax that would fund it. On the other, the private equity owners that previously owned the property, and their continued litigation utilized to extract more revenue from the people. Nope, when Karl Rove comes out against Palin I can't think of a BETTER endorsement. And when Colin Powell endorsed Obama, you know the Colin Powell that sits on the board of Revolution Health, well can you start to get the picture?

| Palin represents about 25% of the country. More of us beleive in UFO's than Palin's agenda. Strict adherence to political dogma without any semblence of compromise will doom the Rep to remain an opposition party and may drive the old school fiscal conservative, personal freedom conservatives to create a new party. Which would be a smart move, since they would capture the Libertarians, conservative Dems and a lot of the Ind with some pragmatic stances on the issues. | ||||

Which of those three things would you consider "wrong"?
Second, the election was won by the United Auto Workers and their advertising blitz proclaiming that McCain would cut Medicare and Medicaid and tax healthcare benefits. Obama is now cutting Medicare and Medicaid and planning on taxing healthcare benefits. Now who feels like a fool?
