| i ask because i overheard something from a memebr of the military that he was given one week's notice that he was being mobilized to "korea" i dunno if north or south, and i'm trying to figure out if this is a big deal, since it's happeningi in the way of the mess with nk in the last couple weeks. | ||||

| I doubt if there is a need to send more troops that way. We already have plenty in the region not mention the use of the south Koran military and Japan's military and more within a stones throw to cause the same kind of disaster that we currently have in Iraq! | ||||

Also the US has a very large contingency of Military in the Pacific to include Hawaii, Yokuska, Okinawa and SKorea so I do not see N. Korea really trying to do much besides using the WMD technology as a way of of getting attention and money not to mention the fact that China, SKorea, Thailand, Phillipines to name a few would have to get involved if things became unstable.

| NK has one million active duty military personell.  But they don't have enough food to feed everyone.  I think they would be powerful in a short engagement. Anything beyond a couple of weeks and they would run out of resources and either surrender or starve to death. | ||||
