That should rally the Republicans if anything does
He's a party of one though. There are no Republicans in CT. All he's doing is making Lieberman look bad and helping Lamont.

haha, No Republicans in CT

They have 3 GOP Reps and only 2 Democrats!

The Democrats only get 50-60% on the state level during state wide eletions...they have a Republican Governor cruising to re-election!...Kerry and Gore only got 54% of the vote

Bush got 44% of the vote in CT...no GOPers in CT?

give me a break

You can cite all the numbers you want. Fact is if they he gets more than 15% of the vote in this election that will be a lot and considered a GOP success in CT.

I think if you talking about political points, Alan (R) won

Lamont held his own against Lieberman, might have even score some small points

Two more debates like this I think you'll see Liebermans numbers drop

I think Lamont comes out on top in this debate. This election is Lieberman vs Lamont. Alan did a good job slamming Lieberman and possibly swaying the moderates from voting for him. Any increase in Alan's votes is a decrease in Lieberman.

Yeah agreed, there is no way one of the 40% of those Ned Lamont voters are going to switch to Alan...

I agree. Lamont comes out on top. Not for his debating style, but because Alan did such a good job going for the moderates and conservatives who were voting for Lieberman.

I think Style's input here would be good, Style, after watching those debates who would you vote for?

Excellent, I predict Alan to hit 15% on election night, Lamont won't slip below 40-45%, so its all about turnout...Lamont has a ground game and lieberman doesn't....Lamont wins

no, its not a prediction, its wishful thinkin based on hopeful outcomes

nbc30.com - Video

On the right. It's broken up into parts listed Senate Debate: Part 1 through 4.

If you click popular it lists them in order as the first 4 videos.

They did a good job keeping it fair. There was one part where they definitely should have cut Lieberman's mic sooner, and they should have cut it on a couple other instances. But overall the other two guys followed the rules and it was a clean debate.
