The only one I saw polled 1000 people, 89 which were black. This was the one you were getting your "95%" claim from.

For "common sense" people here, you guys sure don't show it, everyone knows the word "nigger" is seperate from basically every other term that has even slight racial connotations, because of the dark history in america of its usage

Example, on FX's "Rescue Me" they will use every racial slur in the book, being as they are "so politically incorrect" yet they never once had a white character say the word "nigger"

This is why this debate is going nowhere, people here so do not have any real reasons to back up the things they are saying, they just LOVE the idea of calling Democrats racists against blacks when 90% of the black vote goes to Democrats

Unless someone says anything of value, without scorn or troll-baiting, I don't think any real Democrat should participate in this thread

If I call anyone a nigger, it's not racist as long as they are not black and I'm not applying it to the whole race. If I call only one black man a nigger based only on his actions, that is not racist. If I call a white man a nigger, that's perfectly fine. That is the logic of this thread.

That's just voters, take the entire community, you get even less who approve of Bush, don't believe me? Go to Survey USA and look up tracking polls and match up states with Black voters, I just showed you less than 10% of blacks approve of Bush

Let's look at Mississippi...deep red state...13% approval...ok how about a rich blue state like New York...16%...it doesn't matter...the overall numbers are clear, poll after poll...google it yourself

also, just because someone didn't vote for bush doesn't mean that they don't have conservative beliefs

Again, all you care about in this post is thinking its personally entertaining to call black Democrats racists while patting Bill Cosby on the back

I gave enough evidence to show Steele does not represent the black vote or black community, I showed that Uncle Tom doesn't HAVE to be racist, and that a black man saying it isn't automatically a racist

That's enough for me, I believe I've successfully explained my positions and any reasonable person would understand, and I see where this thread is going

I think the issue at hand is how Uncle Tom is used. A black man that is considered to be a traitor to his race by performing any acts that are not in the best interest of that race is what we consider to be an Uncle Tom or House N******. In otherwards, if I proclaim to be helping black people by pursuading them to vote republican when I know that the republican party does not do anything in support of blacks but I am a republican and I know I can get can get support because of the color of my skin, then I would be considered that. Now it can be conceived in both ways as derogatory and racist depending on how it is used and in the eyes of the beholder. Everyone that use the term is not a racist. Just my two cents.
