| Hannity to Republicans: Your fault if GOP loses in November On election night, when those results start coming in, if the media commentaries are smiling because Republicans are losing, if key senators and key congressmen, many of whom are conservative and have excellent records, go down in the defeat … let me tell you something, in the end you don't have as far as I'm concerned the liberal media to blame. They will have played a part. But ultimately it's you, yourself … you have to blame http://movies.crooksandliars.com/hannity-blame.mp3 There are a fair amount of Republicans on here, are you going to blame yourself for a Democratic Congress, basically you elected the Democrats to power? I mean you didn't participate in GOTV, you didn't contribute enough, or maybe you didn't even vote Either way, some, like Hannity, will say you elected the Democrats to power Do you agree or disagree, and why? | the only chance the republicans have is to have a great turn out, which historically they have. I don't think it will be enough | ||||

| Hannity is a pretty polarizing guy. I've got two of his books used to listen to his radio show religiously till I heard him accuse a fellow republican of being a democrat who slipped passed the screener. The issue was the gay sodomy issue from Texas a couple years ago. That was the day I quit listening to him on a regular basis. | ||||

| Notice he says Republicans, not Conservatives. The latter should not vote like sheep any more than Democrats. The congressional poll numbers are low because they are too cushy and don't do enough real work in congress all around. I would blame the party for any failure, not the voters. Let the Liberals keep the attitude that they are right about everything and blame the stupid voters. They deserve that much consideration! | ||||

If republicans lose the house they need to look at the fact that they isolated and pissed off a lot of voters like me. Moderate republican voters are important to the party every bit as much as the religious right IMO. Maybe I feel that way because I feel I've been for the most part ignored but maybe its because I'm right?

| I do not agree with Hannity. Good enough? And GSpeed: I think a problem with both Hannity and Colmes is that they get very defensive with their parties even when they shouldn't! It makes for very poor arguments! | ||||

I'm a republican and believe it or not I'm ok with gay marriage and ok with first trimester abortions. Not because I "like" either but because people have a right to make decisions in this country so long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others. Hannity seems to disagree with that sentiment. While I like much of what he says I find it hard to take him seriously if all he can do when really pressedon an issue is yell/scream and hang up on a caller. I'd love to meet Hannity because I think on a personal level he's probably pretty cool and we probably agree more than we disagree but I do not like the way he handles himself in situations with opposing views.

| Hannity is among the worst of Bush's lapdogs. His radio show is filled with half-truths, deceit, propaganda, hate, intolerance of viewpoints that don't align with his own, and blind adorement of Bush and his Administration. I honestly believe there is nothing Bush could do that Hannity couldn't find a way to justify while finding a way to blame Democrats. Hannity is everything wrong with the political debate in this country. He dumbs down every argument to the point where his viewpoints are just laughable. A few days ago, he was agreeing with Dick Morris that Republicans should threaten China with giving nuclear weapons to Japan and South Korea in order to appear tough on North Korea in an effort to win the midterm elections | ||||

| Uh, yes, whoever wins in November, I blame the people that voted them in. Since, after all, they are the ones responsible for voting, right? | ||||

He fully supports the Patriot Act, the warrantless NSA wiretaps, no Constitutional rights for those deemed enemy combatants (including Americans on American soil). Hannity always finds a way to justify everything Bush and his administration do. He claims he is "intellectually honest" because he disagreed with the President on Dubai Ports, Immigration (though he still blames Dems), and government spending. He often says on his show "fear is a great motivator" and his audience is largely too dumb to see that this is exactly how the Neo-cons in Congress have managed to pass legislation which severely erodes civil liberties and legislates morality. Hannity is the President's lapdog and one of his best propagandists.
