The 'outing' continues v.Larry Craig is gay?

To update and continue my previous thread about Mike Rogers outing supposedly gay Republicans; the gay-hunt continues.

...I have called on Senator Larry Craig to end his years of hypocrisy by leveling with Idahoans about who he really is. I am also calling upon several prominent Idaho social conservative leaders to ask them how they square their anti-gay positions with their support for this leader.

Craig isn't exactly the 'gay type'. Anyway, this isn't going to go over well at all.

Craig obviously denies the allegations:

Senator Craig’s office flatly rejected the claims. "The Senator says this story is absolutely ridiculous – almost laughable," said press secretary Sid Smith. “It has no basis in fact.”

Democratic activists have decided the best way to fight the Republicans is to out closeted gay members of Congress. This is despicable behavior, and it should be condemned. Patterico points out, though, that it is being celebrated.

What is the justification for this, other than to embarrass someone? Perhaps these idiots think these outings will lead to a mass exodus of evangelicals from the Republican party. In some cases, they might be right. But I think what you'll see is a growing anger among Republicans at just how low some Democrats are willing to go.

He conducted several interviews, just like they did with Clinton

They found multiple gay men who were not in contact from the DC circle and other places around the country who testified that they had homosexual sex in there...what else do you want, videotapes? They even described parts his private body and it all matched up

It should be noted this person has never "outed" a wrong person, every person he has talked about admitted or refused to deny that they were homosexual

For those who say "well he had a wife and kids!" so did the former NJ governor, and he was gayer than christmas

He shouldn't be outing people in the first place, even if he's right 100% of the time.

Being a homosexual is one thing, having multiple homosexual encounters, with enough people that they can be easily indentified, is a matter of self restraint...he entered the DC political culture of homosexuality that clearly said if you vote to hurt homosexuals, you can be outed

He knew this, and he broke the contract

Just like any other contract, you have to pay a remedy

This remedy is extremely light: He is told who he really is

Outing Hypocrites? Is that the best "issue" democrats can come up with on their own? Like their are NO democrats that have ever been Hypocrites?

If politicians could get fired because of being hypocritical Washington would be empty.

if it is not true, i'd have an issue. But if it is true, and you are an elected public figure it is bound to come out. It is part of being a public figure.

One thing I dont understand is how it would be perfectly legal for Foley to have sex with the page in DC. But somehow it is illegal to have cybersex with him.
