I worked at 2 different electronics stores as a teenager. I saw both of them fire their skilled workers, some making over 70k a year, and hire teenagers to compete with walmart.

Well walmart has nothing to do with Hardware stores not having skilled labor. Blame that on Home Depot/Lowes. Problem is the old corner hardware store couldn't compete with a large hardware store AND lumber store.



And how can walmart be to blame for the electronics industry ? They barely sell any electronics. And the ones they do sell have huge profit margins so the prices aren't very competitive.
