So a woman is supposed to pay to have fertility drugs injected, pay to have doctor appointments, pay to travel, and pay to have the eggs removed? How many women will donate if they have to pay to do it?

Also, is $2000 for the 2 months it takes to prep her for the procedure really as bad as what you're "decyphering"? I worked with a woman who went through fertility treatments. She gained weight, got sick, missed work, and generally felt like shit until a few weeks after she finished the treatments. From what I saw, $2k is not an incentive to do this.

Racist much? Banning polygamy doesn't mean you can't care for two women, it means you can't marry them.

do you feel its better for politicians to just run attack ads instead? lets have a guy that is living daily with a desease that stem cell research may eventually help...or...lets attack the other guy about a bankruptcy he filed 15 years ago!

and what exactly is bad about an agenda that may potentially help millions of people? is it really murder to use embryonic stem cells? isnt death sometimes worth it, if it can potentially save lives? youre a christian, didnt jesus die to save you?

I don't care what ads are on tv. I just hate that idiotic "I approved this message" tidbit at the end of political ads now.

Yes, Jesus died for me - the difference is He chose to die. I'm all for people choosing to die. I'm not for one group of people telling another group of people that they should die.

And I don't necessarily equate stem cell research with abortion or cloning. I think there is a very fine line, but I have no problem with stem cell research. I just have a problem with the government paying for it. Not because of what it is, but because I don't like the government paying for any research, for anything.

I can't disagree with that. I mean, who would dare oppose what Marty/Alex says? Oh yea, Rush would... and look what happened to him

Update

So it seems MJF has no idea what he's campaigning for (or against )

Fox: Well, I don't think that's true. You know, I campaigned for Claire McCaskill. And so I have to qualify it by saying I'm not qualified to speak on the page-to-page content of the initiative. Although, I am quite sure that I'll agree with it in spirit, I don't know, I— On full disclosure, I haven't read it, and that's why I didn't put myself up for it distinctly.
So how does this make his ads credible?

See the video here.

So then you agree that none of congress is credible since they don't read the laws they sign?

You think Bush reads everything that comes across his desk, or do you figure someone gives him an overview sometimes?

I've not asked every one of the, but I seriously doubt that none of congress ever reads the bills that go through there, as you claimed.

Can you not discuss this without nitpicking word usage?

Ok how about this? They don't read everything that goes across their desk. That's one of the reasons thay have aids around. Does that make them not credible?

Word usage means everything in a debate.

Either way, if MJF is going to campaign on one issue, he should know what he's campaigning for, right? Ok, let's assume he was given a 'summary' by someone...by whom? By the Democrats for whom he's campaigning? Don't you think what they tell him may only be what they want him to hear? Don't you think that he may very well look foolish if it seems that his ad is almost irrelevant to the real issue at hand?

Uhm, did you watch the commercial...he doesn't talk about the amendment, he talks about mccaskill being for full stem cell research in general (federally) and Talent being against it...thats accurate...he did not come out swinging for the ballot prop

You beat me to it! While I don't agree on Talent being against stem cell research, that's what the ad on radio and TV was about- not specifically the constitutional amendment, but about WHO to elect to the senate.

What would jesus about stem cell exsperments and other things that are going on such as cloneing tring to remake a human being or a copy of a human. You see we are no copy we are the origanals and knowone can remake an origanal.I wonder where and what would he do think about that for a while. Why do some of human think the they are supiour over everything but themselves. when the time comes I'm sure we all will find out just who we really are and for what purpose only he knows. We as people on this earth will never be better than the true maker, the one and only do or do not agree.

Bad spending what about bad judgement, leadership. How do you feel about the president picking a fight with Sadium Husain and letting the american people believe the lies that was told about (wmd) that was covered up from the american people instead of telling the truth.Lies are very common in the world of politics they will promise you the moon untill they get into office and in the first place all the promises were nothing but lies in the first place so don't worry about just spending there is alot that goes with it.

I'm not sure I understand your post.

Are you saying Jesus would disapprove of stem cell research?
