If you support Israel in any way, whether it be military service or monetary, you're a terrorist too and part of the problem. You are not a civilian and not a victim.

That's the same logic people have been using to justify the deaths of Lebanese civilians in other threads... exactly. If they give money to Hezbollah because they're using their schools, etc, they're a terrorist supporter and deserve to die.

It's funny how much more

it sounds when the same logic is applied to the other side of the conflict though.

to me it all comes down to this:
1. can israel coexist with its neighbors? yes, they have signed treaties, given up land etc for peace
2. can the arab world coexist with israel? no, they continue to break agreements and refuse to agree to make a palestinan statehood.

Because it's a bad system that should only be used if required to actually defend the country from foreign attack. It'll never be used for another pointless incursion like Vietnam or even Iraq. The public wouldn't stand for it.

Quakers aren't Israeli citizens, if you are just a regular jew who calls himself a pacifist, they give you an army job that doesn't involve killing but still feeds the Israeli war machine

What treaties has Jordan or Egypt broken lately? the ones calling this a horrible crime?
