THe EU only designeated one guy as a terrorist. I think only 2 or 3 nations consider the entire organistion to be terrorists.

Terrorism is a tactic. I don't think it is any worse than collateral damage.

In the end, the result is the same.

Hezbollah don't intend "to kill as many civillians as possible", infact they often target the military. So how does this fit in with groups that specifically aimi at civillains as the driving force.

if they want to target the military, go ahead lets have a war then. Don't cry about the end result then.

I don't think a war is a good idea.

My point is I don't think the tactics of Hezbollah is terrorism anymore than Israel.

Hezbollah has attacked military targets as well as random attacks, and Israel has not exactly been careful about avoiding civillians.

I think that the labelling of hezbollah as terrorists is primarily a propaganda tool. Certainly they have questionable tactics, but they are hadly going to line up and charge.

yes, it says only 3 specify the whole thing to be terrorist, the other 3 specify the militant part to be terrorist (aren't most militant?) and the EU only specifies the one guy that's part of it.

israel has sent off 6000 missions and hit about 3000 targets in the past fwe weeks. that's a shitload. to have only killed 540 people is amazing in that amount of missions.

Still a big difference between things like attacking the WTC and firing rockets.

Sucks because both sides believe they are right, and to one degree or anther have an argument that supports the viewpoint.
