| Hillary leads McCain 51-44 in 2008 matchup Asked if they preferred Hillary Rodham Clinton to McCain, respondents gave the Democratic New York senator and former first lady a 51 percent to 44 percent advantage over the Republican Senator from Arizona. Poll: Spare the 'Rodham,' spoil her election - CNN.com It goes on to explain how labeling her as "Hillary Rodham Clinton" helps her with woman who identify her more as independent from her husband I am telling you guys, a lot of you underestimate Hillary, they need to do some serious polling in 2007, but I think the extreme turnout of women who would register to vote or inactive women who would vote would skyrocket, and she'd win as long as: -No more terrorists attacks before the elecitons -Iraq has been basically decided (it seems to already have been) -She doesn't royally screw up her campaign (kinda hard when Bill is there to coach her 24/7) The "OMG get those scandal ridden Clintons out!" was tried in 96, Clinton won in a landslide I am pretty anti-Hillary as of right now, just because I don't think she's been a great Democrat...lets see how the House races turn out in NY...but honestly, the pool of 08 candidates is pretty terrible, and if McCain and Rudy split the moderate vote, whatever loon the GOP put up would get smashed by any Dem | ||||

| Her skeletons aren't thrown out in the public eye yet. She can't beat McCain on the national level just like Kerry couldn't beat Bush... regardless of what the polls show. | ||||

Trust me, those skeletons have been out soon long they've turned to dust I don't think there's another woman in history who has been as thoroughly investigated as Hillary Clinton

| I would be voting for a 3rd party candidate if those two win the primaries. There isn't a backbone between the two of them. | ||||

I lost respect for him then. It would take quite a bit for him to earn it back, but I suppose it's possible. He has a better shot at it than Hillary.

| Cindy Sheehan wants to start her own third party. She'd probably get more votes than the Libertarians, lol. | ||||

| In my opinion Clinton is unelectable. She comes off as fake. She's a woman from Chicago who did a poll to see where should could get elected and ran for Senate in that state. She does nothing for NY and uses her position to advance herself. She's keeps herself in the spotlight and has said a lot of very stupid things that will bite her in the ass if she decides to run. I mean just everything from insulting young workers, to plantation comparisons, she removed herself from New Yorkers after 9.11 and said politicians shouldn't insert themselves in people's grief. She was criticized as being a part of the Whitewater controversy, associated with the Black Panthers, her anti-semetic remarks.. calling someone a "Fucking Jew Bastard" and referring to people as "Jew Boy" ... She was on the presidential board of Walmart and there is a lot of dirt there to be brought up. She's only been in the Senate a few years and she already has made a mockery of herself and the position. Imagine her campaigning and everything she does being in the spotlight. She would bury herself. She's not electable. The Dems would do much better with Obama and that's what I've been hearing from the Dems on the news as well. The Dems are pushing Obama, and it's probably the smartest move they've made in the past 6 years. Hillary would not stand a chance in a national election against the GOP and their presidential campaign strategies. She would implode. | ||||
