Questions to ask the pew research center?

The main polling expert from pew research center is going to be back on my show nov 1. what could some interesting pre-election questions be that would go beyond what can be read in a poll number?

They did a very good, but controversial study about the media being liberal. Ask them about their methods and if they still think that's the case today and if they feel it will have an effect on the upcoming elections.

They also concluded that during the last presidential election 70% of the news stories for Democrats were positive and over 60% of the news stories for Republicans were negative. With the rise of Fox News does he think there is still that disparity and what effects could it have in the long term for American politics.

Well, if it's about 'general polling' and stuff like that, I'd ask why things like Nielson are still touted as accurate when they don't include people without land lines, and with the availability of episodes for downloads, etc..

I'd also ask the same thing about cell phones when it comes to calling people, why are they excluded? I've never received a call asking me about a candidate.

Back when i was a telemarketer, at least in nebraska, i think there was a law that said calling cell phones was not allowed. It had something to do with people using cell phones are billed by the minute and the sales call would use their minutes.
