But the 14th Amendment does, of course.
what trumps it is irrelevant. the piont is that its an underhanded move by the repubs and clearly misleading.

Why is it okay for the tx gop to call say he shouldn't be appointed because he's an atheist? What if they did the same thing with a muslim or a hindu? It'd be a huge scandal. Why is it socially acceptable in this country to discriminate against atheists?
