Obama speaks to God

That's something you learn watching ministers--what they call the Holy Spirit. Not to try to intellectualize it, but what I see there are moments that happen within a sermon where the minister gets out of his ego and is speaking from a different source. And it's powerful."

The Democrats are likely going to be pissing their pants once this goes mainstream. But I think it's good. It will only help him. It helps him reach over and grab independents and conservatives who want a change. He's a moderate. He has good character and stands up for what he believes in.

He isn't for gay marriage. But that didn't stop the Democrats from backing Hillary, Kerry or Edwards so I don't see why it would mean much to them now. The other politicians I think really did support it, they were just saying they didn't for votes. I think Obama is really against it. And again, character. He's not lying about his views. He's up front.

Hopefully he'll stand up against late term abortions as well as other things that will make him electable. I wonder if the Dems will stop attacking Bush for his relationship with God if they start running behind Obama.

Well the Democrats can't bash Bush for believing in God if their golden child does the same thing. That's the big deal.

It sounds like he talks to God.

But he isn't saying that God talks to him. I think by conversation, he believes it to be one sided, that's how I read it anyways...

He's hot shit because of his speech he gave a while back. Democrats were impressed.

Once again it is the far left and the press that supports them that gave us all the "Jesus Land" jokes and had an attack everytime Bush mentioned God. This will not hurt him with mainstream Democrats.

But it does not hurt to point out the obvious left hypocracy on this and so many other issues!

If he does run I think we will know alot more about him and it all might not be as rosy as it is a present? I think it is too soon for him to run. It might be he wants to position himself for a Clinton VP spot to leap off of if she can win and stay in office for eight years?
