| Yes, there's a stain on my carpet. Yes, it has to do with the fact that I eat lunch sitting in a beanbag chair. | ||||

| I had a 'California Club Sandwich' from the deli that delivers to work. It was wheat bread with turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, onion, avacado, and bacon, and I had a side of macaroni salad. | ||||

BLT Pizza from CPK is awesome, but really hard to reheat (I'm actually eating my leftovers from lunch right now, lol, thinking about it made me hungry for it). It's fine cold though

| Its almost better cold If you order extra lettuce+mayo on the side, you can keep that cold and just reheat the dough Edit: I dont think i'll ever appreciate tomatos, some things will never agree with my taste buds!! That includes rye bread and as posted above salami+bologna and any kind of vinegar oil etc :x Every few years i try them again, standing over the sink. lol. | ||||

Hell, ESPECIALLY vinegar. Vinegar in stuff is SO good. I braised some ribs in a white wine vinegar sauce and it was omgood. But regular white vinegar isn't good for anything... well, except cleaning. If you're going to use vinegar it has to be something like white/red/rice wine, taragon, and one that is great completely straight up, Balsamic. Man, some GOOD salad/pasta dressings use Balsamic Vinegar as it's base. For tomatos, I'm not one to just be able to eat one like an apple (like my mother and grandmother can), but I found out that the smaller the tomato, the more sweet and intense the flavor. So now, when I make tacos or even a BLT sandwich, I'll chop up some cherry or grape tomatos for some GOOD flavor. And if you ever have to use a globe tomato, get rid of that nasty-ass gelatinous goo on the inside... blech. Lastly, for REALLY good tomatos, go to farmer's markets instead of the grocery store. The ones at the grocery store are picked when they're green then chemicals are used to make them red, but it doesn't make the flavor mature at all. Ones that are picked fresh while ripe will always taste a lot better. My fiance and I made stuffed tomatos recently... fresh picked globe tomato gutted packed with sauted mushrooms (of various types like shitake and a couple I can't spell) and topped with a dollop of goat cheese (broiled to melt and lightly brown it). Mmm Mmm
