Check out JaJae's link...in like like 8 or so of the last polls, only Fox News and one other minor poll had him in the lead...thats ironic...fox news being the one saying he has a minor lead

if you are thinking of predictions, that is Zogby, who has spent so much of the last few years doing international work he has last his touch when it comes to American politics

People use it to make themselves feel better when the results are what they think they should be. When they aren't they are usually ignored or argued against. I would call this a "Bi-partisan" issue. But some people like to use poll numbers more than others in this board to try to prove their point

It's also a tool to go to when an election is lost and you want to scream "FIX!!!" like the dems did in 2004.

the argument was never "fix" it was that Ohio should have been closer because Blackwell and the GOP who ran the state had a system which when enacted hurt Democratic voters

Bush was not involved

I still don't think it would have been enough to get over 120,000 votes, but some do, and i respect that opinion

In 2000, we dont need to get into that mess but a few hundred votes thats like a flip of the coin, and a conservative SC coming as an activist court to save the GOP was just infuriating to democrats

The SC did nothing except say that FL must obey the State constitution.

State Supreme courts are ALWAYS the final deciders in those situations ESPECIALLY by originalist judges

The Rasmussen poll clearly states a 5pt webb lead, if you take away leaners (for what reason i have no idea) it is still a 2pt lead, not a one point lead

Saying Rasmussen has them at 1 point two days after the story is a blatant lie

what matters is what rasmussen actually has as their data, not what website mistake was made or miscalculation or whatever system they used

The race has been tightening for months. Until now, though, Republican Senator George Allen has been at least a few points ahead. But the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows Webb now leading 48% to 46%

That's three days. I stated the source (Election 2006: Senate and House Races Updated Daily) of my Rasmussen poll stating on the 29th (two days after the event) Rasmussen reported a 1 point difference. It's also on their webpage.

Taking data from the wrong day and making it bigger doesn't make what I said wrong.

the only way you could possibly get that number is if you take three polls, two from BEFORE THE NOVEL STORY CAME OUT...which had NOTHING to do with my post

I see a gossip column that still has no updated info. It's been a week with no other info, names, content of said "leaked divorce papers". Seems a liberal wet dream that has vanished. Like this thread should.
